Ty Dolla Sign was born Tyrone William Griffin Jr. on the 13th of April 1985, in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of a realtor mother and a multi-instrumentalist father named Tyrone Griffin Sr. who did session work for Death Row Records as well as Rick James.
