B.o.B was born on the 15th of November 1988, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, his born name is Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr., better known by his stage name. B.o.B would soon after move to the East side of Atlanta and settle into a Suburb known as De Carter.
While living there, he started making music as a hobby and he began his musical education by learning to play the trumpet and other instruments throughout grade school. When B.o.B was in the sixth grade he already knew that he wanted to become a musician.
