Francisco James Muniz IV was born in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey, on the 5th of December 1985. His father Francisco was a Restaurateur while his mother Denise Muñiz worked as a nurse. Muniz grew up with his older sister named Cristina.
After spending a few years in New Jersey, the entire family moved to North Carolina where he pursued his studies. His mother is of Irish and Italian descent while his father has Puerto Rican ancestry.
